You cannot taper what you have not counted

Most quit apps start from a date and count upward. Quitify starts from what you actually smoke — one tap per puff — and builds the reduction plan out of your own numbers instead of a generic schedule.

What it does

  1. 01

    One tap per puff

From the widget, the Lock Screen or the app. Logging has to be faster than the craving or it does not get logged.

  2. 02

    Your real pattern, in charts

Hour of day, day of week, and the clusters you would never notice from memory. The trigger times are the actionable part.

  3. 03

A plan from your own numbers

The taper is calculated from your logged baseline, so the target for next week is a real reduction rather than an arbitrary one.

  4. 04

    Health recovery timeline

What has already improved and what is next, on the timeline that starts from your own last cigarette.

  5. 05

    Apple Health integration

Writes to Apple Health so smoking data sits alongside the rest of your health record rather than in an island.

Why we built it

Quit-smoking apps almost all assume the hard part is staying stopped. For a lot of people the hard part is earlier: getting an honest count of what they actually smoke, because the remembered number and the real number are never the same.

Quitify puts the counter first and the quit date second. Once a week of real data exists, both the plan and the triggers stop being guesses.

Questions

01Does Quitify work for vaping as well as cigarettes?

Yes. Logging is per puff rather than per cigarette, which is what makes it work for vaping, where there is no natural unit to count.

02Do I have to quit on day one?

No. Quitify is built for tapering: you log your current baseline first, and the reduction plan is generated from that baseline rather than starting from a quit date you pick in advance.

03Can I log without opening the app?

Yes. There is widget support so a puff can be logged from the home screen, which matters because a log that takes three taps stops happening within a week.

04Is Quitify free?

Quitify is free to download, log with and follow a plan. An optional subscription adds the detailed health analytics and correlation analysis against other health metrics.
